Street Animal Welfare & Management – Stray Pals
Stray Pals was launched on February 2010 to sensitize communities, on community adoption of dogs and to foster an empathetic behaviour towards street dogs in addition to rescue, foster care, vaccinations and ABC programmes.
The main objective is:
- To create awareness and mass education to the public stray dog management and welfare through focused radio programmes
- To involve communities in adopting stray dogs
- To have mass sterilization and vaccination drives
- To treat dogs that are mal-nourished, injured, diseased
